Palace Preserves

PictureRachel is the inspiration behind Palace Preserves
This project uses locally grown and foraged produce to make delicious jams, marmalades and chutneys. We sell these at the Patchwork Farm stall at the Food Market and have also supplied a number of local cafes and local veg box service “Local Greens”.

We have also run a jam-making and skill-sharing workshop for older members of the community at the Central Hill Day Centre.

The idea behind the project is to ensure that seasonal gluts do not go to waste.

All are welcome to come and learn new skills and share recipes at one of our Jam sessions.
